"The rooms are basic but sufficient. There are shared bathrooms at one end of the hall and are self-contained units; each having a sink, toilet and shower. There are washers and dryers available at no cost but you need to supply your own detergent. The food is limited in choice but is good comfort food and is reasonably priced. The hotel is located about a 1/2 hour walk from downtown Longyearbyen."

"My expectations were met. Stable and fast WiFi. Friendly staff and efficient service. Be aware when you book a standard room, you will end up in a separate building across the street, which has no elevator. This also means changing between slippers and street shoes every time. My standard room did not have a walk-in shower, but a bathtub with shower head and glass wall. This type of bathroom is not shown in any of the pictures.

"Nice facilities, very spacious room! Shower was really nice, also contained a washing machine and dishwasher (powder and tablets for both included). Super convenient as shops very nearby and easy for tour/activity pickups."
"I have to say the building was spotless! The staff were very helpful. They phoned to get taxis and helped us where we wanted to go. The breakfast was good with a variety of food and drinks.
When we were leaving they helped us find a place for our luggage so we didn't have to drag our bags around before we left. I can only praise them for being excellent!"
