Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. "Good free breakfast for all guests although we were charged extra by Expedia which was annoying. Dated decor in the rooms but clean bathroom. Our room was very cold and the heating only worked intermittently (we turned the radiator to full but it came on for about an hour one night and roasted us on the final night, two other nights had no heating at all). Parking was ok but we got the last available space on a couple of days after going out… I think you can park in the approach road for free...
