"PRO: Easy access from road. Clean rooms. Felt safe. Had no hassles. CON: Parking lot very dark; wife did not feel safe. Refrigerator made a loud 'clicking' noise ALL NIGHT! Staff did not come across very friendly; not bad, just not friendly. Overall, I would look at other hotels before I rented here again: 50/50"

"This hotel was the cleanest hotel we have ever been to. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was also the best we’ve experienced. All items were fully stocked throughout the morning and the food was delicious. So many choices every day. We loved this hotel so much that we stayed an extra day. If you come to Kemmerer, this is the best place to stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This is a 1970 vintage look and floor plan The exterior is not impressive BUT: Beds and pillows are comfortable. The decor is updated. The bathroom is updated. The water pressure is awesome in an older plumbing system! The towels need upgrading—thin and rough. The breakfast room and the breakfast buffet were well stocked and tended"

"Afton was a cute stop on our way to the Grand Tetons before heading towards Yellowstone. The hotel was newer and very nice. Its location was right on the Main Street and we discovered a beautiful short hike nearby towards a cold water Geiser. We stopped here because Jackson hole was expensive. It was still an hour further but a pleasant drive. The breakfast was standard for this type of stop. Waffles, sausages and eggs along with oatmeal or cereal choices. "Felt like someone’s Airbnb they had diy’d. Themed room was cute and lots of bed space for the family. But could have been more clean, and some things needed fixing."

"The Room and property were very clean. The staff were very friendly. The price was reasonable. There was a continental breakfast but no place to sit down and eat it. You had to take the food back to your room to eat it. The lobby was really small! Overall a pleasant stay. We would stay here again!"

"The breakfast was wonderful. It was full of great things if that is what you look for. Unfortunately the smoke alarm in our room went off twice; once at night, once in the AM. Not a new issue as when I called the desk they told me to turn on the fan. Bed was good, but the a/c couldn't get quite right. No major issues and would stay again."

"The property was newly remodeled. The shower only got lukewarm. There was a hair or two on the floor but it was clean other than that. The staff was really helpful. I cut myself while visiting and they were quick to provide me with several band-aids."
