"I stayed in the dog friendly room. The hotel had an ample supply and doggy bags and plenty of area to take the dog for a walk. The staff was always very friend. Breakfast was a delight, interactions with the front desk was also. Next time I travel with my Boxer Dog through that area I will stay there again"

"Property looked good on the outside but as soon as you step foot inside it’s a different story. The place is rundown although they almost do a good job of hiding it. Our hotel room door was broke and wouldn’t latch unless you pushed extra hard on it. It had a huge gap at the top between the door and the door frame. "It was like being in a crackhouse there was black mold. The bathroom was super tiny. The toilet was meant for a child, so small . the price was about $40 too expensive. very disappointed. Would never go back. The positive was they had nice pillows."

"Customer service was good, place was good for our budget, room was horrible, some disgusting not sure if it was food (dried underneath the bed) I sprayed the whole room with antibacterial spray and my husband had to fix the light in the bathroom it was hanging down because we didn’t want anyone else to come in the room it was already bad and we just need a place to lay down."

"Staff was very friendly and we loved our room. We had a King suite, and it was like being in a mini apartment. My son arrived a day before us and he had a queen room and he about the same type room that we had but a bit smaller. The room was clean and we were supplied with dish soap, towels, a regular sized refrigerator, dishes and a table for four people. The hotel is close to the mall and dozens of restaurants. We will be back!"

"The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful. If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality."

"We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. "It was the worst experience I have had. Within minutes of arriving, a guy staying at a room across from us attempted to break into our vehicle and ran off as soon as we walked out to stop him. Another gal, who was clearly under the influence, had people coming and going from her room. We ended up being there 20 minutes and decided to leave this place and book a hotel elsewhere.
