"Like the security for the rooms, the facilities and being able to put an evening meal together rather than paying to eat out. Also as i currently work in Newark it's very handy for that. Not to be put off but it's also very handy for shopping, eating and drinking also both the train stations ate within walking distance with Castle Station closer than Northgate. No doubt i'll be sraying again soon."

"Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away"

"The rating was given for two star hotel. This is a motel style, very, very simple. Service was good, the room was relatively clean. We stayed only one night, so we just needed a place where we could sleep. It was a good place to stay for the money paid. "

"The staff here are lovely, I had a warm welcome from Zorro the dog. Rahol and the housekeeping ladies Nat and Hayley couldnt do enough to make my stay the best. The little issues that I encountered were resolved efficiantly and with genuine care by those 3 . Sunday roast was the best Ive had in a long time, I just wish I had more time here to sample more of the menu. I thought that the visitor's guide books in the bedrooms were a nice touch. "Excellent well designed modern lodge in superb condition. Ensuite bedrooms, comfortably furnished lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. Peaceful, secure countryside setting. Would definitely recommend for a quiet restful holiday. Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham easily accessible form this location. "
