"Sarah checked us in and was extremely helpful. We had arrived early and our rooms were ready for check in. She assisted with recommendations for hiking and restaurants in the area. We stayed for two days and had a lovely time. The staff was nice and courteous. Very nice rooms with updated amenities. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again if I'm back in the area"

"We stayed here to experience the Rail Explorers Elk River tour, which makes the hotel’s location convenient if one is coming from Ohio. The beds were comfortable! The hallway carpets and furniture were all banged up or stained. The guests seemed a little rowdy the night we stayed, including an incessant yapping dog. "When I pulled up out front, the woman who runs the hotel happened to be outside. When I told her my last name she knew my first name and where I was traveling from. Check in was seamless and quick. My room was immaculately clean and comfortable. This place was a steal. Highly recommend for anyone in the area."

"We have stayed there multiple times in the last three years and it used to be very clean. Now the carpets look like they are never vacuumed in the hallways. The room carpets that we have stayed in have large stains on them. The most recent stay, room 313 had a large stain by the couch in the living room and the couch had frayed cushions and the arm rests were extremely dirty. It used to be a super clean hotel but not anymore. I think it is due to the large number of work crews we saw staying...

"The absolute best hotel i have ever stayed at. who would’ve thought out of OH, MD, and virginia beach, this hotel is the best. Like i was truly sad to leave. It was just a half way point from VA beach to home OH. We had the best time. They have a hot tub and pool, which had no people when we went. a fire pit and a grill. very good breakfast, a cozy bed, a nice shower bath with good water pressure, the TV had a smart setting so we could watch our apps. Close to food gas and the springs. the front...

"One piece of furniture housing the fridge and microwave needs some repair. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean but it all needs to be updated. Nothing felt “crisp”. Complimentary breakfast was less than satisfactory. We would not stay there again."

"The Home2 in Lewisburg was fine. It's location is extremely convenient; only 2 minutes to Main St.; only 2 minutes to I-64. The staff are as nice as can be. My room was 4th floor and window was on West side of building which rendered great sunset views, but I could feel and hear heavy walkers and loud group conversations. Other than that, and as mentioned, the experience was fine. I'll be back :-)"
