"Nice and close to the arrivals terminal, a short 2min walk, no problem even with luggage. The signage to walk there is poor, had to ask which direction to get there."

"It’s the perfect location inside the airport for an overnight layover. Get off the plane and be in the hotel room in less than 15 minutes. It’s perfect. The room was clean and, has a comfortable bed. The a/c is control by the hotel so, the room is not freezing like other hotels."

The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. "Great, clean, and centrally located hotel in the Design District! The neighborhood is fantastic, with really great restaurants and shopping nearby. The breakfast is excellent, and parking is conveniently close by. The only issue was that the carpet in both the lobby and the room needed a deep clean. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"This is a different model for a hotel. There is intermittent staff at the location and no one describes the property, rooms or amenities. The wall temp control says it has air conditioning to adjust temp but there really is no air conditioning. Room was clean and nicely located."

"The Hotel Kakola is a unique property. It's one of the most unusual hotels we have stayed in because up until just a few years ago it had been a prison! They certainly did a fabulous remodeling to make it into a lovely hotel. The gals at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Henna went above and beyond spending time with us to give us ideas for touring the area. We enjoyed both the outdoor terrace and the buffet breakfast. It's a bit eerie to see handcuffs on the backs of the chairs...

"The hotel is over rated on the expedia site. The room we had tired and had not been renovated recently. The headboard had vinyl peelibg off. The bathtub/shower was dangerous due to being squeezed into such a small space. We were there to catch a cruise and had ordered a taxi. In the morning there was no one coordinating the many people trying to get a taxi, it was a free for all. We did not visit the hotel restaurant due to the expensive menu. I do not recommend this hotel. I do not recommend...

"Ihana paikka, mutta ehdottomasti majoittaudu kartanossa, se on täysin eri maailmasta kuin konferenssihotelli, jossa kylpylä sijaitsee. Kartanon huoneet ovat tunnelmalliset ja kivasti kunnostettu, tuli ihan Englanti mieleen. Aamupala on hyvä ja kylpyläkin ihan kiva, ehkä vähän voisi parantaa suihkujen siisteyttä jos alkaa etsimään parannettavaa. Mutta kaiken kaikkiaan aivan super ihana paikka, onpa mukavaa että tällaisia paikkoja on vaalittu. "
