We loved the convenience of staying so near the airport and parking our car meters away. The room was fine, not great quite basic but the food in the restaurant was excellent. I would have given 5 stars but we asked for a morning call at 07.45 as did not want to miss our flight, nothing came. Luckily ...
Good location near to seafront, parking & shopping centre, nice hotel.
Ideal location for our stay, we had to change rooms after the first night due to a few problems. This was not an issue as we moved to another room. The breakfast was ideal and could not fault it. Nice hotel very clean friendly staff. Ideal if your going to cliff pavilion to see a show
Arrived very early from a flight from Australia and the friendly front desk saw us straight to our room - such a great Boxung Day outcome!
We found old food and rubbish in the cupboards. Some heating not working, sticky floor in living room. Poor communication about access and getting keys.
When you need the utmost convenience while in Southend-on-Sea, booking a room at a hotel close to the airport is the best bet. You are able to grab your gear from baggage claim and check into your room before your fellow passengers even leave the airport. Plus, you don't have to worry about paying for a taxi, or trying to follow directions in a place you aren't familiar with. Making your way through Southend-on-Seacould be intimidating for someone new to the area. Reserving a stay at a Southend-on-Sea airport hotel washes all the troubles away, whether you are making Southend-on-Sea one leg of your yearly vacation like the hundreds of travelers who visited over the past year, brought the whole family along, or are in town for business.
