"I was in town for a funeral and was only there for one night but had to be moved because the AC unit had a loud screeching noise in the first room. "We were not pleased with this hotel; there was construction going on that we might have overlooked during our booking. The front counter staff were not friendly at all and seemed to be bothered when asked questions and during checking in and out. The gym was unavailable as it was being used as a storage room during renovation. The pool was not heated and was not well taken care of. On a better note, the self-served breakfast was very well organized, and with staff that cared about us."

"What I liked is the building is close to my family’s home. I’ve stayed there maybe 3-4 times and it appears there is some neglect. The gym needs MUCH work!! …I see no improvement from year to year. The carpets need to be replaced. When they’re finished renovating the first floor area the next job should be to renovate the rooms!!"

What was terrible was that on our first day of our 2-day stay, the room was not made up when we were out all day. I called the front desk who asked at once whether I had the privacy sign up.
