"If you’re driving somewhere it’s good value for money as a one or two nighter. Don’t expect anything flashy but it’s nice and clean. Would be better if they had a queen size bed. Be prepared to drive. It’s not close to anything. Breakfast was so so. Filling, but the powdered scrambled eggs were not very edible."

Had a lovely ploughmans and sticky toffee pudding for lunch in bar area,really enjoyable.Nice patio outside for evening drinks!!!Breakfast was excellent set in a beautiful dining room,service was excellent especially from sue who went out her way to make it enjoyable!This was my first visit to the Castle Hotel of Brecon and it won't be my last!!"

"Not as advertised. The Hotel description states there is a bar - there isn't. They dont have a licence. The exterior photos of the hotel do not look like the hotel in reality. The room was fine. Breakfast was average. Quite disappointed."
