Hotels with Amazing Views in South Rim

"They obviously save the old run-down rooms for people with pets, but charge the same price as for a “nice” room. Our room was at the very far end of the property, away from the lobby. The carpet was well-worn indoor-outdoor quality, There were no accessible plugins near the bed to charge a phone or (more importantly) to plug in my husband’s cpap machine. We pulled a nightstand out a little to look behind it and it was dirty/filthy behind it. No outlet. Hot water was lukewarm at best. There were none of the usual “extra” deadbolt locks on the door. We were disappointed"

"This place is clean, staff are approachable, restaurants are nearby. A must come back place to stay!"

"Maswik had everything we were looking for. We booked 3 rooms with kitchenettes in the South section for my husband, me and our 4 adult children. The rooms were spacious, the kitchenettes allowed us to eat breakfast in our rooms and make packed lunches for hiking. We ate dinner in the pizza restaurant (twice 🙂) and at the restaurant at Bright Angel Lodge. We loved the location and the lodge."

"Liked the cleaniness of the room and surrounding area. Polite staff. Had an issue with the heat it was unplugged found out the next morning as could not get heat to work."

"Overall, good experience. Definitely dated decor, but overall, well maintained for usage this place gets. Overall, the room was clean but did find toys and debris under the bed from previous visitors. Breakfast was free and good overall. Not much if you were looking for warm breakfast. No eggs or meats."
