"Beautiful historic hotel continues to shine. Modestly sized rooms but the ocean facing ones directly overlook the Gateway of India and have a small balcony. I'd choose the less expensive Tower rooms that give you the same experience as the older historic building. All in all a magnificent hotel that fully lives up to its reputation for overall excellence. "

A special shoutout to the staff at the 21-club - I received so much advice and helpful suggestions! If you want to have a great time - and live it up - stay at the Taj. Beware of the traffic though, give yourself time to reach your destinations."
