"Lovely stay at the Westbourne, we were attending a wedding in the Lakes and stayed for 2 nights. The en suite was spotless, comfortable bed and pillows. We had breakfast on the second morning which was great value and quality. Really is great value for money, with friendly staff and an easy check in experience. Would definitely recommend."

"We made a late booking for a one-night stay and Carla was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and there's ample on-street free parking. Well located between Windermere and Bowness, and only a short walk to the lake. (Room 1 does not have a door separating the bedroom and bathroom, if that is an issue for you.) "

"Really lovely stay. Easy to find and in great location. Not far from Fell Foot and the railway station. Both Windermere and Ulverston are a short drive away. Room was perfect, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and tea making facilities in the room were really appreciated! "

"Lovely stay in the dog friendly deluxe room. Very comfortable, clean and well decorated room. The room has it's own parking space and is only about 10 minutes walk down to the centre of Bowness. Hosts are very friendly but leave you to enjoy the room in peace with the proviso that they are only a message away should you need anything. They are happy to provide any information on the local area required. They even provide dog bed, bowls and towel though we had brought our own. We will definitely...

"Jan & Jim our hosts were wonderful. The accommodations were roomy & comfortable. Grasmere is a wonderful place to stay in the Lake District and Beck Allens is nicely located in Grasmere. Enjoyed hearing the sound of the nearby creek from our guest house."
