"Old building with lots of character. We had a lovely room, with an original door. There were plenty of plug and usb sockets. Be mindful the property is on a main road so have traffic noise. I thought earplugs with me. Carolina was the perfect host and made us welcome, a real credit to the property. We prebooked breakfast for both days, it came out right on time and was delicious. "Spent 8 nights in England. Poplars was my fave of the 5 places we stayed. That was due to staff. Though my train left before (free) breakfast, they left food for us the night before and provided fresh coffee in the morning. Meant a lot to us. Close to all points of interest but a bit of walk from train station. Cheap uber rides available. Great pick to be near Lincoln Castle."
