"The staff were wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We unwound each night with a half-pint on the beautiful terrace that is set along the riverbank. The building is a lovely old hodge-podge of levels. We were at the top of it, which involves a stairs-climb that could be hard for some. There is ample parking (very welcome!). "Can’t fault our stay at the sea trout, the staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room was fine, not anything special but lovely and clean. We were staying in the area for a wedding, without a car it’s quite hard to get around although the hotel were really helpful with providing local taxis. If you’re staying here, would recommend eating in the restaurant, the food was amazing! Would recommend"

"Check was fast and easy. I was put in room 1 which kind of sat above the beer garden and so it was noisy. I requested a room change for something quieter and they gave room 4 which was perfect. Nice and quiet and got a good nights sleep. My only criticism was that although there was tea and coffee there was no milk options so had to go buy milk and there was no shower gel or soap in the toilet shower area. Easy fix as a coop next door. I suppose I could have asked but they already been...
