"I always appreciate to start a review with a compliment, so, I did very much enjoy the comfort of a Good mattress! And the sheets and pillows were very nice and comfy as well. Also, the hand soap was of good quality and made my hands feel clean. BUT… The overall cleanliness of the property was not great. My Husband went to the pool and the locker room was locked so no place to change in private. And there was a cigarette butt in the hot tub. Now, some of this is poor behavior is from guests but...

"The lobby was in such terrible shape, we asked to see the room. We forfeited our payment as the room smelled musty; there was exposed plumbing in the bathroom, carpet was very old, water spotted ceiling in the room and the lobby. Shouldn't be listed on Expedia. Reviews/ratings did not accurately reflect the status of the motel. "

"If I could give the staff 0 stars I would! We got there and the clerk told me they had no rooms even though I had prepaid for the room. And then had the audacity to say they called to let me know, they did not. Wish I could say more but overbooking was their fault, not mine. "

"Stayed at Motel 6 Lakeland, FL and had a pretty disappointing experience. The room smelled strongly like cigarette smoke, which made it uncomfortable right away. It also seemed like many people are living at the property, with groups hanging around outside the rooms throughout the night. There was a lot of noise, and it didn’t quiet down until around 3 a.m., making it hard to get any rest. Overall, not a great stay."

"There remodeling the rooms, no decor cheap paint job, the shower drain was slow to drain, I was afraid to actually take a shower. So I stepped out to go to my car and almost tripped over the construction materials in the front. My neighbors came out to introduce themselves and was complaining about no hot water in their room. Not good. "

"I was happy until at 12:30 am I was awakened by loud music screaming from people below o windows. I called the front desk and asked for security and was told there is no security and then I said call the police. She said she called the police but no one showed up. This went on for over 30 minutes. I would never come back to this property. "
