"hotel was immaculate. my only complaint was having to pay for parking. I think if your a paying guest there shouldnt be a high rate for parking. "

"The pillows and bed were soooooo comfortable I was very impressed . The free breakfast was good. The bar next door had great drink specials for top shelf liquor. The pool looked very clean . We would definitely stay here again . It was close to downtown and we took the back way to get through congress avenue. "

"We’ve lived in an Austin suburb for 20 years and decided to celebrate our anniversary with an iconic Austin weekend, so the Austin Motel was an easy choice. The location is perfect for walking to many fun spots on So Congress and really experiencing the heart of Austin! Of course we took plenty of pictures under the famous retro Austin Motel sign and loved being just steps from the “I love you so much” wall, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Tacos, etc. The motel is super cute, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the whole place has such a fun, funky vibe. It made for a great anniversary stay. "

"Shower had a clear window to the room. No blackout curtains. Water took a long time to get hot. Nightstand lamp constantly flickered like a strobe light. Women’s public restroom in lobby didn’t lock. Location was perfect."
