"Clean room, good service "

"Our room was very clean and already cool when we arrived on a very warm summer evening. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets very clean. Because this is an older property they still have a room with a jacuzzi tub perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Breakfast was well stocked and had a very attentive staff. Yes the wall paper is tired, they still have carpeting in the rooms and the decor is dated but we will definitely stay again as we go through Carlisle a couple times a year and...

"This is a really cool property given it sits in the quaint downtown area of Shippensburg. Great restaurant on the property and convenient parking. With a little extra cleaning I would have easily given a 5 star review."

"The room was clean and spacious. Loved the basketball court for my son as well as all the outdoor seating. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so helpful. Only issue we noticed (and it wasn’t the first time staying here or seeing this problem) the pool seemed very cloudy as well as chunks of hair floating around. Hot tub was very nice and didn’t have that issue. There was an issues with the handle on our toilet seat and they had the owner there within 15 mins and he was getting tools to fix...

"The indoor pool was nice. The room was a good size everything was clean and comfortable. Did not like that certain things like the fire pit was only available Friday and Saturday. I didn’t check in until Sunday. I also didn’t like the fact other guests invited them selves to our balcony."

"For a quiet little hotel, the gym was much better equipped than I expected, and there was video game room too! Wish I'd had time to go play PacMan."

"This is a fun one or two night stopover for families. Cabooses that sleep 6 are tight but fine for 1-2 nights. Not really a place for multiple night stay in my opinion. Definitely visit the National Toy Train museum next door and make the trip train themed."

"Recently renovated, it was like staying at a brand new hotel, clean, new, nicely designed. Accommodations are only half of the experience, this hotel surpassed expectations when it came to customer service, friendliness, housekeeping, and the breakfast meal. In fact, we stayed here twice, within a week. They remembered us, greeted us like we were old friends, was a wonderful experience. Yep, we highly recommend this outfit. Good job folks."
