"Good restaurant options. Wish there was a microwave and the lobby area would be better in a separate space than the casino. We travelled with our toddler and there was a lot of cigarette smoke she had to inhale because we had to walk through the casino to go to the lobby."

"This was my 5th stay at Jim Butler. It is my preferred hotel in Tonopah for it's central location and affordability. I stayed in #23, a double room on the first floor, which I have stayed in twice before. The remodel, which are great in rooms on the side of the building facing the Mitzpah Hotel are incomplete in this room, particularly the bathroom. The room comes with a nice sized mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Unfortunately, the bathroom appeared not to have been cleaned on this...

"Hotel was great value but the check in process was terrible, we arrived at 8.20 pm and there was a sign at reception saying ‘gone to lunch, back at 8.45’ we didn’t get checked in until after 9. The manager said she wasn’t able to access the check in systems and the girl working, who is obviously entitled to lunch was entirely unapologetic and disinterested. This is a staffing issue and should have been an easy fix but instead there was a whole line of people waiting to check in with no apology or sympathy. Hotel itself was fine and very good considering the price."
