"The couple did a great job renovating this historical hotel. They are very friendly, even lending us their waterproof boots to go to the beach during low tide. If you visit Homer and not in a RV, we highly recommend staying here. Good price, great service and hospitality. I might come to Homer again with my sister and will stay in Moosetide again. Room was a little warm but they provided fan and was able to open the window during the night to cool off the room. There wasn't a hair dryer in the room and I didn't need one for one night but you may have been able to get one from the office. Nice stay."

"What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!"

"This was the worst property we have ever been at. We left immediately as it was so dirty. There was spider in a web in the bath. The coffee pot had water in it, there was no hot water, the bed had crumbs in it. There was a ton of water damage on the ceiling. No soap or shampoo. It just was disgusting. After a 5 minute walkthrough we went back to the office and attempted to cancel. This was immediate. Frankly, Expedia should take this off their site. It was unclean!"
