"Everything at the hotel was wonderful from the staff to the room, the breakfast was hot and good. They had a social hour the days we were there with drinks and appetizers as well as a trivia game. The bartender was friendly and the bar was nice. The added bonus was they had a complimentary washer/dryer. Great location and place to stay in Savannah "

"I made the reservation and stated I must have a room with a pull-out couch on the first floor as I had a handicap person coming and could not sleep in a bed. They called me and told me they could not accommodate that as only second floor had that and there is no elevator in the hotel. I said I was sorry, but that was not going to work and to please cancel the reservation I placed 10 MINUTES before. They said they would cancel; however, I would not get my money back. Horrible service by the front desk manager. We ended up having tto carry our handicap guest up the stairs. Very unsafe."

"The hotel is in a great location, but it's showing its age; don't expect anything fancy. One of the elevators was clearly not working correctly and caused a lot of anxiety among guests. Mentioned this to the front desk and nothing was done. Also, the people at the front desk were not unpleasant, but they rarely acknowledged me when I walked through the lobby. In fact, many times they seemed to actively avoid eye contact. "
