"Karen was wonderful. She greeted us and gave us a bigger room for free! I love the art deco design and the San Diego theme. Each room has a different historic designation. The outdoor patio and gazebo are wonderful places to relax. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, bars and a park. Bravo!"

"The property overall is average. Some upgrades were done while others were not. The bay view is really nice on the upper floors. Reggie was the manager/ person that checked me in. He made sure everyone (in front of me and including me) was accommodated and well taken care of. He's patient and a one man show. I applaud his work and service. "
