"No outlets next to bed. Rooms are outdated. We could hear the drunks outside really loud no one at office to call. We will never stay there again. We had plans to stay 3 nights after first horrible night we canceled and left."

"Everything was really nice. The resturant meal we had was excellent. Our room location was greatly located and we enjoyed all the activities. The only disappoint was in what is call a suite. The furtniture etc was still the original, which was very old looking and dusty in the cracks and sticky . Plus, we had to go down the hall to use a microwave. Otherwise, we had a great stay and will be back."

"We stayed at Islander Inn for a bachelorette trip specifically because of the advertised pool and swim-up bar amenities. Before arriving, I called the day before check-in because it was early in the season and temperatures were only around 70 degrees. I was told the pool would not be open due to the weather. However, when we arrived, it became clear that the issue was not weather at all — the entire pool and swim-up bar area was under heavy construction and essentially torn apart. We paid full price for a hotel that heavily advertises these amenities, yet they were completely unavailable during our stay. This should have been clearly disclosed before booking or at minimum before arrival. To make matters more frustrating, other nearby hotels had their pools open, including the hotel directly next to us, so the explanation we were given felt misleading. The rooms themselves were clean, and the hotel overall was decent aside from this issue. However, we were also charged overnight parking fees, which felt excessive considering visitors already have to pay to park virtually everywhere on the island. Overall, the lack of transparency about the construction and unavailable amenities was very disappointing, especially for a trip planned around the pool atmosphere."
