Excellent location and rooftop

Rooftop terrace is stunning and wonderful place to hang out. The location is excellent in the medina and easy to walk anywhere from there, even to the beach. Very comfortable, spacious, quiet and delightful room. Host was very kind.

A lovely residence in the heart of the Medina with a wonderfully welcoming and helpful host. We had a good-sized room with small sitting area and comfortable bed, traditional decorations, and an enclosed balcony overlooking the interior courtyard where breakfast was served in the morning. The rooftop terrace is lovely, and the walk in from the nearest street wasn’t bad even with the cobblestone streets. Our thanks to Aziz for making our stay so pleasant! We will be recommending this residence to family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel, a beautifully restored eighteenth-century family home, is arranged with great taste and attention to detail. The owner and staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Check-in was as smooth as it gets—they immediately provided us with a WhatsApp contact, which made communication easy throughout our stay. Sousse is a historically rich and fascinating city, and the hotel is ideally located—everything of major interest is within easy reach. We also had excellent meals at several nearby restaurants. One of the highlights of the hotel was the terrace, which offers a wonderful view over the old city and the sea—a perfect place to start or end the day. Some of the bathroom appliances could be improved, but that does not detract in the least from the charm and fascination of this place. We’re already looking forward to returning.

Beautiful but not a hotel

It was a little difficult to find and you cant take a taxi to the location so if you have luggage you have to carry it through the medina to find the entrance which is in a small hidden corner. It was a little deceiving that it calls itself a hotel when its actually a bed and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and nice and made sure we were always doing ok however since it is a house with several bedrooms you can hear every conversation early in the morning so dont plan on sleeping in. The decor of the hotel was very beautiful

We liked the position at the core of the medina. The building is nice, with a patio in the middle and a great terrace with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the room was far older than in the photos, and it was not clean: water run out in the evening and AC very noisy. I wouldn’t recommend it… unless they renew the indoors and start cleaning properly…

Hôtel pratique et bon rapport qualité prix

Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Sousse, à 3min à pieds des principales allées commerçantes. Pour notre part, nous n'avons pas logé à l'hôtel "principal" mais avons été conduits à quelques minutes de marche de là dans un autre bâtiment, l'inconvénient étant qu'il fallait se déplacer pour le petit-déjeuner. La chambre est belle et pourrait être très confortable avec un systême permettant d'éviter la lumière du jour qui se lève très tôt. Aussi, une bouilloire serait la bienvenue pour le thé, et une bouteille d'eau à l'arrivée. Le petitdéjeuner est trop simple, un fruit / yaourt serait aussi le bienvenu. Mais je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour sa localisation, et l'accueil a été excellent.

Hôtel pratique, qui peut s'améliorer

L'accueil a été excellent. Nous n'étions pas logés à l'adresse indiquée mais à un autre bâtiment à quelques centaines de mètres et du coup le petit-déjeuner n'était pas sur place mais dans l'hôtel principal (pas très grave mais il faudrait le préciser). La chambre était très belle, mais confort moyen car beaucoup de fenêtres sans rideau et donc réveil très matinal obligatoire. Une bouteille d'eau serait la bienvenue dans la chambre et la possibilité de se faire un thé en attendant le petit-dej servi à partir de 08h. Le petit déjeuner lui est plutôt décevant, du pain avec confiture et un oeuf dur un jour, une petite omelette l'autre. Cela pourrait être complété par quelques fruits, un jus, yaourt par exemple pour avoir un vrai petit-déj. Malgré cela je recommande l'hôtel qui a un excellent rapport qualité prix

ホテルは鍵がかかり入れないまま立往生していた。 通りがかりの近所の人にサポートを受けた。 電話で呼び出してようやくスタッフが現れたが、予約した部屋とは別の部屋に泊まらされた。 場所が分かり難い。 ホテルへの道は、猫の糞、ネズミの死骸があり不衛生。

メディナのなかに泊まることは他の国ではできない体験で非常に良かったです。立地や建物の雰囲気は素晴らしかったですが、隙間風が多く朝は寒かったです。Wi-Fiは非常に不安定でストレスでした。

可愛い部屋と中庭

客室内装の可愛らしさ、中庭の美しさは最高です。 場所は旧市街の路地の中にあり、入り口も目立たないので、最初はわかり辛いかもしれません。管理人（大家さん？）のおじさんは朝から夕方まではいますが、夜は不在になります。客室の鍵を閉める際にコツが必要です。シャワーの出は少し悪いです。設備面ではホテルにおとりますが、とにかく客室の雰囲気の良さはオススメします。

滞在が2月で暖房がなかなか効かず、少々凍えたのと、シャワーにカーテンのような仕切りがなく、使用にはかなりの工夫が必要だったのには苦労しました。 それでも、オーナーやスタッフの方は親切でしたし、部屋は広くて静かで居心地が良かったです。 メディナの中ということで、最初は行くのに迷うと思います。明るい時間に余裕を持って訪ねるのがオススメです。

Very nice house right in the middle of the medina!

The place we got was the second house that was just renovated a few months ago. There was a water problem at first but the owner looked into it and was able to fix it fast. The upper rooms are a little small but nice, everything was fine.
