The location was very central but very peaceful, and we had a beautiful terrace where we could relax in the afternoons, We had the Pomegranate room, which was very comfortable, especially the bed, and a fabulous bathroom. "We stayed for 3 nights in May while visiting Italy. I can't say enough positive things about the Ara Maris. We were in a room overlooking the rear pool/garden with a private hot tub. We did not miss viewing the sea as we'd seen it throughout the day. The room was spacious and we especially appreciated the double sinks and the separate water closet. "The room was very clean, as well as cleaning service every morning after 10 am during stay which is very great. Check in was extremely easy as the host (Giacomo) was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us by showing us the suite and how to use everything. A map was at the front desk with the town and how to get places as well as Giacomo had lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do nearby!
