"Not every modern convenience, and limited in some ways (no countertop around the sink, oddly shaped rooms, a huge wardrobe rather than a closet), but if you like history and appreciate the preservation of unique architectural details, this is an excellent find. Lovely outdoor dining, parking was near enough, very walkable area. Expensive, but we’d go back. Really enjoyed this slice of film history that has been left intact and offers a window into a bygone era. "

"Beautiful boutique hotel with continental breakfast, manager’s hour snacks, and bike share. Small room but the shower was great and the courtyard was an amazing space to relax or read in."

"Great boutique hotel, and an awesome location. Be prepared to pay $50 a night for parking as street parking is permit only in the neighboring blocks from the hotel. lively restaurant at the bottom of hotel. safe neighborhood for solo female travelers. would highly recommend."

"Very clean and modern basic room. I used after surgery and the room was comfortable and met my needs. Never got an ick feeling; fridge and microwave were good and clean. Bathroom was clean and had nice sized personal hygiene products. A/C worked well. Parking on site right in from of the room. Would stay again."

" Well, if you’re willing to, don’t spend a lot of money and you’re by yourself single and you just need a room and somewhere to shower and all that it’s excellent you know I don’t recommend it as a five star hotel. It’s not what they’re offering they’re offering an expensive different way to stay a night without having to spend so much money and that’s what’s excellent about it and the staff is great. The amenities are wonderful. They have everything you could need and want games play games TV...

"The bed in the room I was in was horrible. It was lopsided and when I just sat on it, it made a loud noise. Also while laying in it, I felt like I was inclined backwards. Will not stay there again. "

"It’s a super quaint, gated, beautiful little cottage next to a very nice private pool area. Cozy courtyard for outside hangs. Very convenient to Rodeo Dr, Century City, Farmers Market, etc. Owners are very friendly in emails etc but we never saw them. Comfy bed. Big shower. Just the perfect place to relax but also be near a ton of restaurants and activities. "

"Great location, and the hotel was pretty good overall. Just missing a few things to make it elite. Only limited amenities in the bathroom. The tech and connectivity of TVs etc was not great. They don’t have usb-c ports. It’s obviously a fancy hotel but it costs a lot more than other better hotels. Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids is no less than $150. Just a couple things drop it from the ultimate."
