Nice hotel next to a 7 eleven, they give free continental breakfast coffee and cereal. My only complaint is the tub was a little dirty but overall the hotel is not bad. I felt very safe because you have to use a card to open the hallway door to each floor.

The hotel was easy to get to and the staff accommodated a late arrival. But the room was overrun with roaches that crawled EVERYWHERE. We arrived late in the night so did not make too much of a fuss. But they need to exterminate and do much better for their guests. Especially guests like us who were there with children.

We asked to change our reservation and were told by Travelocity that it couldn't be doe. So we drove 2 hours out of our way, got to the hotel and were told our reservation was canceled. Another man was told the same thing right after us.

This Hotel needs to be upgraded and cleaned Room was full of water damage and dirt on floor nor swept or cleaned at all Bedding was clean Bathroom sink handle came off when turned on knobs fell off dresser when trying to open not adequate towels or wash clothes not adequate continental breakfast Staff were seemingly nice

WORST WORST WORST

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL WE'VE SEEN. Rooms with cockroaches, rooms smell musty and cigarette smelling, even we requested a non-smoking room; staffs are very very rude, they said "with breakfast " but doesn't have cutleries, napkins, no butter, jam whatever.

Smell . Hallway, bedroom, no security at all. Questionable people in and out, marijuana smell all over the place. Someone tried to reach me at the parking lot. That person was staying there. When he saw my husband, he walk rapidly to the stairs. Not a safe place for normal people.

Dismissive and unkind

The man was a little bit rude and dismissive. I made the reservation within 10 minutes of arriving and he wouldnt allow us to stay and wouldn't call a manager for approval. I was just done driving from a business trip I needed to rest before an accident occured. I was just tired and needed a few hours to rest.

Toilet running the entire stay

We ended up getting there late on check and to be somewhere so we dropped our stuff off, freshened up and left. When we got back, the toilet was running which meant it had been running the whole time we were gone. It was too late to do anything at that time. We closed the bathroom door and I told the front desk in the morning. Needless to say when we got back later that night, the toilet was still running. Also, we did not have enough towels when we got to the room (only one wash cloth and one hand towel). We didn't notice until the morning.

Bad experience

Bed sheets look dirty. There was a hole in the wall. Jetted tub didn't work. Long hairs on one of my towels.Balcony door didn't lock. Got to the hotel well after check in Time and the room wasn't ready, I had to wait 40 min for them to clean it. When I finally got inside the room I noticed it still wasn't really clean.I drop something behind the desk and when I went to pick it up I noticed a Bone and a fork on the floor.

Hallways were very dirty and smelled disgusting. When I got to the room it was filthy, and there were bed bugs literally on the pillow. I took photos. I went straight to the front desk to ask for a refund. He was very unhelpful and told me I have to contact Expedia to get a refund. When speaking to Expedia they tried to contact the front desk to ask for a refund, they were told the clerk couldn’t authorize it. When they tried to call back a second time the hotel wouldn’t answer. I’m still waiting to find out if Expedia can get a refund, but the hotel is less than helpful. This place is filthy. Do not stay here.

I booked on Expedia. Easy as pie. They sent me a text saying I could mobile check in ahead of time to save time when I was there. I got to the check in desk and the man could not find my reservation for about 20 minutes despite me showing him my confirmation number and all that and he was rude with me saying why would I use the website etc. Finally he found it. No time saved there. The website for Howard Johnson specifically say’s several in several places all rooms are nonsmoking. Good I do not smoke. I get to the room there are burns in the sheets and it stinks of cigarettes. Gross. The floors were dirty, with debris in the corners and such. All day and into the night there was doors slamming and loud music and such. So I get a text saying I can mobile check out. So I do and I decided it was finally quiet enough so I could take a nap I requested a late checkout on the website. It told me I could stay til 3pm for an additional 40$. Well the man at the desk told me it was 50$ and proceeded to show me a hand written note about prices. I showed him the website which clearly stated 40$ and he continued to argue and be nasty to me. So I decided to just leave. Awful experience and terrible service. I will never return there
