""We had a very pleasant stay at the Park Inn by Radisson. The hotel was conveniently located, with free parking available, which made our visit much easier. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hotel was able to accommodate our request for a quiet room, which we greatly appreciated. The location was ideal, being close to the town centre and within easy reach of local attractions. We were visiting to see the longest yarn exhibition, and the hotel provided an excellent base for our trip. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free one-night stay with good facilities, friendly staff and great value for money. We would happily stay here again.""

"Lovely warm reception when I arrived, which was nice and the staff were very helpful throughout my stay. The outside area around the hotel was very neglected, which didn’t give a great impression but the rooms were very clean, if a little tired and in need of some re-furnishing. For the price paid, and the cleanliness of the room, I would definitely stay here again. Would just be nice if the area around the hotel was a bit tidier as a wrecked car was even sitting in the parking area around the back."

"Overall a lovely spot to stay, travelling on business. Gym is super small and they could do more with the space they have by stripping out some of the bulky treadmills etc and just putting in some weights / kbs / mats. Also my single bed wasn’t amazingly comfy. But would I stay again. Yes, 100%. Staff are great (reception were super helpful as I’d actually booked the wrong night!), breakfast was lovely and the setting / story is gorgeous. Pub next door was decent for dinner. Recommend."

"I chose this hotel based on the pictures, description and reviews I saw thinking it was a nice small boutique hotel but I was totally wrong. To say the room was the worst I’ve ever stayed in is an understatement, very dated and shabby with wood chip paper but one wall was simply plywood boards. The bathroom hadn’t changed since around 1979 and the shower produced a dibble of water! Nice greeting and decent location etc but extremely poor all round, will not be back and not sure my wife will ever forgive me!"

"We arrived early and decided to try the dining facilities. We were pleasantly surprised at the options and pricing. When the courses arrived the standard was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed with ensuite facilities, coffee machine with small fridge and milk as well as bottled water. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast had many options. From toast, cereals, croissants, Danish-style pastries to the obligatory full English. Which again was fantastic. We took our coffee into the "Arts & Crafts" styled lounge where comfy sofas and Sunday papers were available. Parking was plentiful and close to the reception. The staff were pleasant and attentive. We were lucky to have the weather to sit in the garden. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you"

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very tired and needs some changing and upgrades and the bathroom was not clean with ingrained grubbiness. At breakfast, there was a coffee machine with no facilities for decaffeinated coffee. Just sachets of decaffeinated. Otherwise breakfast was good."
