"This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

"2nd time we stayed here for local events. On both occasions the hotel has been friendly, clean, spotless quiet room, great pool, nice outdoor area for day/evening drinks, breakfast hot & plentiful, plenty of parking (albeit £5 a night but it's cheaper than others)! Would stay again without hesitation!"

"We had a most pleasant and relaxing break in our journey home. A most well run hotel, very cheerful and professional, very friendly and thoughtful with some nice touches like a saucer for tea bags and a sausages for our dog at breakfast. I heartily recommend this hotel and think that we may well visit again just explore the local area."

"Excellent budget hotel. I have stayed several times to break the journey to London. I have not eaten on a night but value for money, the breakfast is excellent at around £5 extra for great choice. Waitress even offered to cook me fresh eggs any way I wanted. Bar is fairly well stocked with selection of lagers & an American IPA. Pint of Cobra cheap for a hotel at £5.50. Room clean and comfortable with TV, coffee making etc & plenty of towels. At moment parking is free but I understand they are looking at charging. Mistake in my mind, I don't like hidden costs, so just include it in the price."

"Booked a superior room expecting soft seating sofa or arm chairs as advertised in the photos as well as Hotel's own website (medium room). However, on arrival was given a room with just one desk chair and was told that as the room was bigger with less amenities it was still classed as a superior/medium room. This is very misleading. Overall the general service (bar and food) was poor as I don't think the staff were trained well. Also, beware the 13% service charges - not really justified by the service!"
