A real pleasure to stay. Very kind and helpful staff. Cosy room, comfortable bed, extra pillows available. Beautiful classical Norwegian building close to the city center. We forgot our swimming gear, unfortunately as te pool looked tempting. Breakfast, excellent choice of food and tables with a view.

Vi ønsket å bytte til større rom. Dette ble utført med smil og hyggelig betjening! Ingen problemer og vi fikk et godt tilbud! Stort fint rom med utsikt, stort bad osv. This is a really nice family-run hotel. Great location on the fjord shore. Lovely garden to sit in. The pool was v nice, albeit not sure it was really heated to 24 degrees! We stayed in a family room - myself, wife and 15yr old son - very nice decor and modern bathroom. Stayed one night, should’ve stayed longer. Ideal for fjord trips and exploring the area. The town itself has limited food options but the pizza place was v good - we sat in the sun down by the small harbour area overlooking a beautiful fjord. What’s not to like?! Would highly recommend.

Ein altes traditionelles Hotel mit klassischem Stil. Wir hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer, dafür war das Zimmer zu klein. Wenig Abstellmöglichkeit für Koffer etc. Kaum zugängliche Steckdosen zum Laden. Das Hotel hat leider zu wenig Parkplätze. Ein schöner Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf den Fjord. Frühstück war hervorragend.

Lots of charm!

Charming historic hotel. My family stayed here for one night as we were travelling through the area. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great. The only complaint I’d have is that we could hear the traffic from the nearby road during the night.
