Excellent service, very good breakfast, beautiful surroundings.Short walk to Göta kanal, free parking, free pool. Very nice. Only really negative thing was the lack of cooling/ air conditioning. The fan we got helped only a bit. The bed was quite soft, perhaps even too soft.

A lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the free coffee was cold and there was no espresso in the restaurant. That spoiled the overall impression a little bit.

Found it a bit hard when arriving by car where the actual entrance was and where to check in but also where to park the car. Once we found it, the stay was great and the food (dinner and breakfast) was really good. Especially the dinner! The only thing bringing the score down slightly was how it was very hot inside the hotel. Which I guess due to the age of the hotel but surely it must be possible to improve on ventilation or even better, have air condition installed. All in all though, a great experience!

Wir hatten ein Superangebot buchen können und haben im Hostel - nicht im Hotel - übernachtet. Der Teil war erwartungsgemäß und nett, es fehlte lediglich ein Fön. Der Aufenthalt im Hotel, also Check-In, Lobby mit Kaffee und Keksen sowie das Frühstück waren hervorragend. Eine kleine Kritik: neben unserem Tisch im Fenster lag eine Schnupftabakdose, vermutlich vom Vorabend. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und würden uns wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden, wenn wir bei Bedarf ein passendes Angebot bekommen würden.

En kort skön vistelse.

Två nätter på Söderköpings Brunn med vår hund. Som djurägare bodde vi ien byggnad tvärs över gatan från huvudbyggnaden, stort rum på ca 30m2. Bra badrum, lite för mjuk säng men helt ok. Vi hade även pool runt knuten vilket var skönt i värmen.

Besvikelse - ingen luftkonditionering som lovats

Valde detta boende för att det hade luftkonditionering. Väl på plats visade det sig att ingen AC fanns. Inte heller något Wi-Fi. Poolen kändes sliten (dåligt målad). Extrasängarna till barnen var i blandat skick. En gnisslade hela natten så fort barnet rörde sig. Noterade att många klagade på att det var varmt på deras rum. Valde att checka ut en dag tidigt. Fick ingen ursäkt för felet.

Anrikt, mycket att titta på och spännande att läsa om hotellets historia. Man känner historiens vingslag. Rent och fräsht, god mat, fina omgivningar, härligt spa och framför allt vänlig och hjälpsam personal som sätter pricken över i:et!

Underbart lugnt och trevligt. Hög service för att vara vandrarhem. Ska enligt uppgift renoveras och då kommer det troligen att finnas lite mer krokar, hyllor, en gardin att dra för, läslampor och små sängbord. Det saknade jag, men är ändå mycket nöjd med trevlig god service och ett rum som motsvarade exakt vad jag förväntade mig. Mycket trevligt rum beläget i en vacker gammal 1700-talsbyggnad. Har inte tittat så noga på köket eller de gemensamma utrymmen som fanns, eftersom det för mig räckte med dusch/toa på rummet och jag behövde inte övriga utrymmen.

På genomresa med motorcykel, jag och min fru. Överaskad av den mysiga atmosfären. Enkel incheckning med en uppgradering, jo man tackar. Härlig pool att doppa sig i efter en dag i sadeln, skönt. Lite för varmt rum men blev bättre på natten. Nu till det bästa, Frukosten! Vilken kvalitet och alla dessa smaker, önskar man kunnat stanna en natt till för att hinna/orka en runda till, orkade helt enkelt inte smaka på allt.

Jättesköna sängar och bra frukost och trevlig personal. Prisvärd entré till den fina spa avdelningen. Det som drar ner lite var att vissa saker på frukosten tog slut. Sen rekommenderas att ta med egen fläkt när det är en varm dag, då detta saknades på rummet.

Toppen service o trevlig personal!

Väldigt trevlig personal som ordnade så vi fick annat rum när det blivit fel med bokningen p g a nyss övertagande av Mangelgården. Allt löstes på bästa sätt. Tack!! Helt ok frukost och bra personal. Dock finns några enkla saker som skulle kunna ändras så att det är lättare att ha barn med sig. Kakor vid frukostbuffén kan ställas upp en våning så det inte står så frestande för barn som gärna tar en hel näve. Det borde finnas något för att skydda de fina tygklädda stolarna med, alternativt andra stolar att tillgå när man vet att barn ofta har kladdiga fingrar eller sölar.

Sämsta rummet någonsin

Vi fick bo i ett gammalt torp i Manglargården. Med gemensam toalett och dusch. Det kändes som att man skulle få vägglöss, vi packade inte ens upp. Gamla rangliga möbler, fönstren gick knappt att öppna och insekter kröp runt bland takbjälkarna. Vi tillbringade all vår vakna tid i hotellets spa, reception och frukost där vi fick ett jättefint bemötande. Sov bara på rummet och lämnade det redan kl 06 på morgonen. Om ni ska ha kvar det för bokning så behöver det frächas upp, inredas lyxigare och erbjud besökarna något extra, för besväret att bo i utkanten av området.
