Our room looked to have been painted and refurbished quite recently. The mattresses supported us well. All lights and plumbing worked well. The included breakfast was a step up from what we expected: scrambled eggs, bacon, breads and bagels, a flip-over waffle maker (a personal favorite of mine), juices and coffee,and other good stuff. Our room faced the main street but was not overly noisy (we stayed here before and found rooms farther back in the complex were very quite). A restaurant next door provides Mexican and American dishes, and there are other dining options within a block or two. This budget hotel is remarkably good and we'll stay here on our next trip south.

This was possibly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! Looks freshly renovated. Super comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. And a home-cooked breakfast of biscuits, gravy, eggs & sausage, along with the usual grab 'n go items.

Very quickly the front desk staff checked us into one room. However, we quickly discovered the back sliding glass door did not lock. Fortunately, the staff moved us to an alternate room quickly and easily. The new room was in a wing that had been remodeled recently, so the room had new bathroom space, new floor, new bed. Basically a new room. The room was quiet except for large trucks owned by guests being warmed up in the morning. I would definitely stay in the room again!

Beautifully kept premises. Staff at breakfast time were superb, couldn't be more helpful, desk staff on arrival less so. Recently upgraded facilities couldn't be faulted and cleaning staff were first class.

Our room was more like a studio, well appointed, clean and everything worked. Only thing I did not like about the room was when entering the room , first thing we saw was a wall. The breakfast was diverse and there was a nice attendant who served us our eggs and sausage entree. Coffee was good as was the mini cinnamon rolls that were so cute!

Nice place. Clean. Updated. Breakfast was ok. A really sweet lady made eggs (out of a plastic pouch) and microwaved sausage. They had waffles, bananas, apples, oatmeal, bagels, packaged pastries, coffee tea Yes I would stay there again. Nothing really to do in the area. We were just passing through. Dinner at the restaurant immediately next door was sub-par. I wouldn’t eat there again.

Clean and quiet. Nice lady at the front desk. Nice place to stop while I was passing through. Went to the breakfast area for some coffee on my way out and there was none left. Although I didn’t have any, the breakfast looked like your standard free breakfast and any motel.

Best place in town for the money!
The rooms had recently been remodeled, were nice and clean. The location was convenient and the fitness facility was great. Would definitely be first pick next trip.

Wi-Fi was terrible, and they came to our room 3 times between 7:30 and 9:30 AM thinking we had already checked out wanting to clean the room - just opened the door - didn't even knock.

I really wanted to give a great review. The property is undergoing updates and we had no complaints about the updated room. In fact I was amazed when I walked in, but one of the queen beds had not had the sheets changed after someone had slept in it. Every other aspect of the room and bathroom were spotless. It was very disappointing.

Great value stay
This not a luxury hotel. It is a roadside motel. But, they do roadside motel very well. The room was clean and in good condition. The included breakfast and coffee were good. Small issues were the tub drained slowly, and the blackout curtains could have done a better job. One thing that impressed me was the rooms were very quiet between the rooms. In the night, a family came in next door, when they were in the parking lot, and entering, I could hear them, but as soon as they went into the room, not a sound got through the walls. Next time driving through here, we would definitely stay again.

Very clean ands the beds had lots of pillows. We parked directly in front of the room, and there was a sliding door on the back side that led out to a pet walking area. Made it very convenient.

Very clean. It is wonderful having a microwave and a refrigerator. Having hot chocolate in the room was an added bonus, since I don’t drink coffee. Having a balcony was also nice. It is convenient for photographing at Bosque del Apache early in the morning. Breakfast was available before sunrise.

Checking in was a disaster. I called ahead of time to check in for my uncle as I was 5 hrs away from a 1400mile trip and the person that he spoke with when he arrived was inconsiderate. They allowed another guest to jump the line ahead of him as they had already started the check in process. Because the grumpy ole man insisted they help him first they did leaving us to have to start over. The room wasn’t ready that was assigned to us even though it was time for check in. Then they give us another room and it was half ass cleaned and smelt. I honestly didn’t feel safe leaving my expensive ride outside my door cause people kept walking over to it and around it for two hrs after I finally pulled in and went to bed. Take keys back to office, no thank you for visiting, no please come back, no smile. Like what?!?!

Great short stop over
I was excited to stay here when I saw the resteraunt/bar attached but dissapointed when I arrived and it was closed. The rooms were very clean and the lady who gave us breakfast in the morning was super nice. It was worth the price though I could hear every car door close and open all night. Of course it was nice having our car so close. Overall liked our stay in Socorro

Very comfortable bed. Terrific shower pressure, plenty of hot water. All appliances in room worked perfectly. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Convenient location. Good price. Drab, dark grey color paint in room. White LED lights. Noisy cars on California St. but only from 8 to 10 at night, otherwise quiet.
