"On arrival at the Holiday inn, we booked our car in straight away, which was only £5 for the night. We then checked in with the front desk who explained where our room was, we needed to pay a deposit which wasn’t mentioned on booking, but was ok.
We went to the room which was spotless & very well designed with the most amazing shower, it was huge…..
The bed was massive, made with a quilt and 2 pillows each. The curtains were sealed down the side so when closed there was no outside light coming...

"Small but beautifully formed hotel close to Nottingham castle. We enjoyed staying here. Not a huge amount of choice at breakfast but all good quality. Room was not huge but very comfortable. Would recommend"

"Our toilet did not flush and made an incredibly loud clang when you tried. We had to open the tank and pull up on the plunge 3 times, all with loud clanging sounds.
Noise from outdoors was super loud in room.
Food was expensive so did not eat there.
No free parking"

"Really nice hotel but the you can hear people in the next room, including when they are walking around as the floorboards are very creaky. We were unfortunate enough to have a couple next door have an argument at 4 am which meant we had very little sleep 😴
As we were only there for one night we didn't get to enjoy the gym or pool but did eat at the restaurant in the evening which was nice."

"Central location. Room 6th floor quite noisy on road side. Tea tray replenished and towels were replaced however bed not made up? Bathrobes not supplied as we’re supposed to have been. On arrival told breakfast was an extra charge (this was pre paid). Brought all my concerns to attention after checking they said breakfast was included but no outcome with the robes. "Good hotel for price. It’s showing a little wear however, it was very clean and perfect for a one night stay. Other reviews have mentioned proximity to Rock City and some noise but we didn’t hear any noise and it was a Friday night.
All staff were super pleasant and nothing was any trouble. Special mention goes to the reception staff who were fantastic."

"Great location, I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. Hotel offers free car parking. And great views of Jubilee Campus.
The Flexi card (to access the room using my phone) didn’t work. So I had to get a physical card. But other than that - a straightforward visit.
Sometimes noise from the atrium did echo around the building - but it wasn’t a huge problem"
