"I stayed here 4 times now and absolutely love these cottages! Great location just outside of Grundarfjordur...very quiet and peaceful with great views looking out to ocean, mountains/Kirkjufell, and beautiful sunsets! Cottage as everything you need even small stove plate on the kitchenette you feel like cooking. Hosts also great and reply in timely manner to emails."

"Self service check it. The theme of Aurora rooms a a bit scary But I booked family room and it looks like a recently renovated place and it is okay. Clean and tidy, the shared kitchen is lacking lights and a bit dark, the common area is really a gem of this guest house, has the mojo of youth hostel. "

"Ein herrliches Hotel für eine Zeitreise. So haben Nobelhotels in den 50-er/60-er Jahren ausgesehen. Das Mobilar scheint fast noch original aus dieser Zeit zu sein und wenn, dann ist es gut ausgesucht. Vielleicht sind die Zimmer und Bäder nach heutigen Massstöben ein wenig zu klein, aber der Charme ist da. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einer sensationellen Aussicht, da dürfte es mehr von dieser Kategorie geben. Ein nettes Hotel an einem der vielen Enden der Welt. Das Restaurant ist übrigens...
