"This was my absolute worst hotels.com experience hands down. The room was so dirty that I tried to cancel my reservation, a first ever. And I’ve stayed in some funky places but this takes the cake. The furniture had crusty stains like 3-D stains, the remote control was covered in some kind of sticky goo, sheets stained, burn holes in the blanket, bathroom was a nightmare. Key card did not work until maintenance had to replace batteries in the door unit which took a whole day. Had to get something from the room and while the key card did not work since maintenance hadn’t come yet, I went to front desk and no one was there to let me in. I waited for 30 minutes.
