"The Carton house is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Dublin. The grounds are lovely. The walk to Town is about 30 minutes and well worth it as there are other historical sites to visit in the town. The interior of the Carton house is modern but historical features remain throughout. "I had a great stay on a last-minute layover at Dublin airport. The hotel is a short seven minute walk from the terminal. Check-in was really easy and they offered me a free upgrade. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. It was renovated and super clean. The bed was very Very comfortable. I had a great dinner at the restaurants. The manager was very welcoming and recommended a delicious curry for me to try. Breakfast in the morning was great with a huge selection at the buffet....
