"I LOVED this hotel! Itβs beautiful & peaceful boutique retreat in the center of Old Port but wonderfully tucked away down a small pedestrian alley providing a peaceful environment with all the convenience. The staff were warm, attentive and friendly at both the front desk and the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was fantasticβ¦not to be missed! I stayed in room 102 which was a bit nicer lay out than my friends room who was in 101"

"The location is really great and the hotel is lovely. The staff are incredible- friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Did not like the smell of the water in the toilet. I imagine it has to do with the water being recycled (grey water) and for such an expensive hotel to not replenish water bottles daily was a surprise. Everything else was fantastic."

"Decent hotel overall which ticks all the boxes without quite reaching any particular 'wow' factor. The private loungers on the beach were a highlight and the beach is clean with good sand, clear water and great for swimming. Theres also 2 additional pools which are decent and not busy even in peak season when we visited. Being an adults only hotel meant that it was peaceful without noisy kids taking over, however there are a lot of screeching cicadas in the area which are a bit like sitting next to a car alarm especially on the room's balcony area. We opted for half board which was unnecessary as we went into town for dinner, the evening buffet was ok but not amazing, breakfast buffet was good though. From chatting to locals this is one of the bigger hotels in the area and one of the few adults only. Its well regarded locally but having been to varoius other 5 star places it wasnt exceptional, but for Chania its a very good option. The hotel is well located with a handy public bus service into old town; Chania town is very pleasant and has a lot of good places to eat but the best restaurants are away from the harbour. Overall an enjoyable stay."
