"Hotel bed was good. Bathroom could use some new grout."

"We got to the breakfast room at 8:45am the first morning and the hardboiled eggs where done and were not replenished even though breakfast is until 9:30am. First room we got had a clogged sink. Moved to another room with a broken fridge and shower curtain with broken hook. No kettle in room so no tea. Only reg and decaf pods. I was told that hot water was available in breakfast area in main area. First night there was no tea, second night there was tea but hot water wasn't even lukewarm. Upon checking out at 10:45, the hot water was removed and not able to make tea. Also, one of the staff was unable to put calls through to our room the two nights we were there. When I inquired, he told me that I can call that person back and I told him that his phone not working is a safety issue. IT was all so ridiculous. I will be going back and staying at the Prestige Resort where we have always stayed."

"Very nice hotel and restaurant Beautiful views across the lake Only issue was that the hotel gets very busy with conferences and we often couldn't find parking on site. It felt unsafe walking in the dark when having to park elsewhere "

"Spectacular location and the only hotel that permits dogs at no extra charge! Thank you for understanding they are part of our family! Restaurant had excellent food and all the staff were super friendly. The room are a little dated but absolutely clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends. "

"Had a booking and was supposed to arrive before midnight. However the road going west from Golden to Revelstoke was closed due to avalanche control. So, I had no choice but to stay in Golden overnight instead. Called next day explained the situation and they refused to not charge me for the night. It was clearly a case of unable to arrive at hotel. What sort of management decision to charge for an unexpected circumstance. I hope your hotel makes a good profit from an unethical business practice. I shall avoid your hotel and similar chain. Hope the public are aware of this."
