Top Skipton Hotel Reviews
Herriots
10/10 Excellent
"this is the second time i have stayed at the hotel, which has a car park i was unsure what happens when car park is full, i was informed from management that they would refund any car park tickets which is very reassuring and take the stress out of finding a place to park. there is a nice walk along the canal to all the shops"
Lister Arms
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely room, great food, friendly staff"
Gamekeepers Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It was very well set up with the pool next door. The Inm held quiz and tribute nights and the staff were all really friendly and helpful."
The Woolly Sheep Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The Woolly Sheep is a lovely base for a trip to Skipton and the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and maintained with plenty of storage available should you need it. The restaurant and bars are comfortable and the food is very good. Being summer, we made use of the outside courtyard to sit and enjoy a lovely glass of chilled wine! The bars must also be lovely and cosy in the winter so that may warrant another trip. The staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. One thing to be aware of - there are lots of steps and stairs which should be expected given the age of the property. However, I would have no hesitation in recommending this delightful Inn."
The Devonshire Arms Hotel

Craven Heifer
10/10 Excellent
"Really friendly staff in the Hotel pub. We only stayed a single night and ate both our evening meal and had a breakfast in the morning. This was all to a very good standard."
The Skipton Hotel
8/10 Good
"Everything alright for cRooms is alright ouple nights"
The Black Horse Hotel Grassington
8/10 Good
"This is a nice, friendly, welcoming hotel in what seems to be a pretty old house in the Yorkshire Dales. It does have a lot of steps, no lift, and the town is on the side of a hill, so visitors should be aware of that. The rooms are small, clean and comfortable. Parking is possible in the nearby town square and we were fortunate to find a space on both nights. We ate one night in the restaurant, having made a reservation, and it was good. They allow dogs. The next night, a Sunday, they were fully booked, as were several other restaurants in the town. Breakfast was excellent. You need to order on a card the evening before. We didn’t use the bar but it seemed lively and had music on the Sunday evening."
Red Lion Hotel and Manor House
8/10 Good
"Very smart and great location. Chef was helpful with my shellfish allergy. Room in Manor House very quiet and comfortable (though a bit hot). Excellent shower/room."
