"I didn’t like the fact that I got a room with 2 beds in it instead of the king I reserved. Why advertise that you have a king available, but when I get there, there’s none available. But other than that, the stay was great. Nice staff."

"Would definitely stay here again if needed. Stayed overnight with my daughter for a tournament. I’ve been burned before with reviews on places but this Inn lived up to the reviews. Is it a 5 star modern hotel with high end amenities? No but it’s clean, the room was a nice size. If staying longer we had a fridge, microwave, toaster. Everyone I had to communicate with was extremely helpful and nice. The area of the Inn also felt safe. We were going to eat breakfast there but ran out of time. We did stop in and it also looked very welcoming. The only tiny thing I wasn’t crazy about were the mattresses. A little bit uncomfortable but we were only there for the night and it was fine."

"We arrived early and inquired about checking in. Were told the room was ready but there was a $40 early check in fee. It was 1:45pm and check in was 3:00 pm. We waited. Check in was smooth. The walls are very thin. It sounded like the family in the next room were in our room. The room was clean and bed comfortable."

"Old hotel with a lot of history and character. 150 years old approx, but celebrated 100 years in July of current name. Not for everyone, but lots of charm, in a fun little downtown area. Staff were great, rooms are "old fashioned" (even keys for the doors). But fun nostalgia"
Sherwood Motel

"Desk staff was excellent and got us into our room early which was greatly appreciated. Location is close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, very clean and the larger style refrigerator came in handy. Will continue to stay at the Sherwood every time we stay in Wellsboro. Also the most reasonably price room in the area."
