The whole experience from booking in to booking out was very good Caravan was beautiful, spotless and nicely situated Been many times and will always recommend it

This van was absolutely disgusting. There was mildew on the curtains and in the showers. The curtains were hanging off the rails, the sofas were stained, the pillows and duvets were awful ( fortunately we took our own) the place was damp and fusty. We were loathe to put our clothes in the wardrobes as they smelt damp. This was disgusting. We will never ever book with you again. This is clearly not what I though I was getting by the pictures.

suited our needs as a base for visiting family
We were more than happy with the caravan. It was reasonably clean. There were some more hidden areas that had not been cleaned well but nothing major. There was a lot of information in the folder about the site and emergency contacts which was useful. If going in cooler months you may want to pack extra or warmer clothes for sleeping as it was freezing at night! Despite warming the place with the fan heaters and gas fire we were still very cold at night and had to sleep in big jumpers. We were told on arrival that an entertainment Pass was needed to use the pool and access the amusement arcade and evening entertainment. I do not recall the info on Hotels.com saying anything about a charge to use the amenities. As we had booked so that we were nearby for visiting family it wasn’t worthwhile us paying the £46 for our 2 night stay. It’s a shame as it would have been nice to visit the entertainment one evening or take the children for a quick swim but it was not cost effective for our trip on this occasion. We did have a lovely meal at the boathouse though and the site was well maintained.

Caravan was very cold at night. Swimming pool on site was warm and we were able to pay each time we used it as didnt have passes.

Worth the money
Good stay and the site is worth a visit. However it doesn't state that bedding isn't included as we found out once we arrived without any.
