"The building's best feature is its view overlooking Vienna. For that alone, it is worth being out of the city. So too, the historic building the hotel is located within is remarkable. This latter detail comes at a price, though; it's a creaky, old building lacking in certain modern features. But you'll overlook that for the most part. "This hotel has been refurbished and as a result the rooms are impeccable. The amenities are impeccable. The painting is fresh and I think we got the most well-trained staff we've had in a long time. I would like to give a shout out to Estefania, the receptionist, who made our check-in experience an absolute delight. Everybody who served us did so. They had a smile on their face and we had cappuccinos as our welcome drink. They were very happy to give us a few other coffees along the way as well. Even the baristas were super helpful. They came up to us with the coffee again with a smile on their face. Everybody over there seems to be enjoying working over there, which in turn makes us feel extremely welcome. I would give this place a hundred on ten if I could but for the time being let me just leave it at you will be in very good care."

"Rooms are okay but a deeper cleaning would be advised. Beds are clean, comfortable and bedding changed every other day. Bathroom is clean and maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is absolutely delicious and there is a great selection with high quality items. Warmer days I would stick with rooms that has a window to the courtyard rather than to the street, cars sound like drag racing almost every evening and the birds were extremely loud on the close tree. I would still recommend it as a great hotel to stay when visiting Vienna. Good price/value ratio."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in over 30 years of travelling and staying in hotels around the world. The biggest issue was the temperature in the room. It was extremely cold, around 18°C, and completely uncomfortable. When I went to reception to ask whether the heating could be turned on, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. I was simply told that the heating had been switched off for the season and that nothing could be done. No alternative solution was offered, no portable heater was available, and there was no attempt whatsoever to help a paying guest who was clearly uncomfortable. I contacted Expedia, who also contacted the hotel on my behalf. Unfortunately, they encountered the same lack of willingness to assist. To make matters worse, another guest informed me that there was mould growing in her room. For a hotel that claims to be four-star accommodation, this is completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, this hotel falls far short of the standards I would expect from a four-star property in Vienna. The combination of an uncomfortably cold room, poor customer service, and reports of mould left a very negative impression. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others. It was an extremely disappointing experience and one that I did not expect from a hotel in Austria. I only chose it as had an AM appointment 8 min walk from the hotel."

"This is a very nice hotel that is well located within a short walking distance of most tourist attractions. There are many restaurants nearby including some that are less expensive. Transportation options are right outside the door. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that serves good food. Staff is superb."

"Excellent hotel overall, couldn’t fault it for comfort, cleanliness, value and location. It was well worth adding on breakfast as it kept us going most of the day, it was a great choice of buffet. There isn’t any concierge help as such, the receptionist checking us in did not answer in much detail any questions (we were the only people in reception) but the Wien travel app is really good once you have worked out ticket purchase and direction. Bar, restaurant and housekeeping staff was very good. I would highly recommend the hotel."
