"I’m not sure how this hotel would be considered 5 star. There are absolutely no amenities... pool, gym, valet etc. I’d say solid 3 star. The restaurant server was very rude to us. Our room smelled like well water and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever seen in any hotel. The location was no where near anything so we couldn’t walk… but the ocean view was amazing if you pay $700 for a good room. This hotel is no where near that price I promise you’ll be disappointed. "What a great hotel and such pleasant staff. Our room was on the third floor down with an entrance to the garden. The location was great for strolling around the old town and easy to get an uber to the Pena Palace. The hotel does not have parking but there are parking spots just outside the hotel Also there are no elevators but the staff helped out by bringing our bags down 3 floors to our room. This hotel is on my list for a return visit."

"This has been my most wonderful hotel experience so far. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is amazing and the food at breakfast and dinner was delicious! I wanted a quiet place to unwind and just relax by a pool for a couple days after being in the road for few weeks on a road trip and I couldn’t have found a better place.
