Dear Nicholas, In view of the escalating COVID-19 situation, a an hospitality institution, it is vital that we insist that all guests and visitors alike be subjected to temperature measurement with digital thermometers each and every time they enter the hotel premises. This is irregardless of whether certain Guests had already had their temperatures taken beforehand, for example at the airport. At all government institutions and especially hotels in Singapore, it is now mandatory that the above-mentioned steps be stringently enforced. It will not be practical and neither is it a legal requirement under Singapore laws to have a trained government or health officer to execute the above. We wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback which will aid us to further educate our front line service staff to improve on the mechanics of the temperature taking implementation.
