Great clean property. Something that I was not aware of is that they will charge a $400 deposit at check in. When you have two rooms, that was quite an extra expense not knowing I would need an extra $800, that I did get back.

The staff was very friendly and professional. From the groundskeeper, to the laundry attendant to the bartender, everyone was phenomenal. I couldn’t say enough good things about my stay here. I highly recommend.

The property was beautiful and steps from the beach. Very comfortable and clean. Only 2 complaints I have is that they didn’t clean our room because we didn’t stay for 5 or more days. And one of the bartenders was a little rude. Other than that we had an amazing time and our room had an amazing view. I do recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel , very clean and friendly staff. Rooms very spacious. Amazing beach . Only complaint is the noise level at night as our room was right accross the night club and noise went on every day till 3am .

Great location of the property if you want to be close to bars and restaurant, all within walking distance. Does get a little noisy at night from the bar Nowhere Special across the street with live music and residents revving their motor bikes at 2 and 3a.m. In the morning. My girls complained about it a few times, so I’d definitely invest in ear buds or a sleep machine to drown out the noise. Nice store on the property with everything you can think of you’d need in a hurry, snacks, food, liquor, beer, and wine. Overall great property, probably will book somewhere quieter next year though!! As a travel agent I’d highly recommend it though if budget and convenience of location are your main reasons to visit.

Beautiful room with a deck overlooking the beach. We loved everything about our stay. Great happy hour every day at the poolside bar, and many places within walking distance to eat. We loved our stay!

Good hotel to stay in the Dutch side. Close to many restaurants. Pool is great for kids. Beach is ok, not the best. The apartment units are good clean and stocked with complete utensils.

The property was very nice. The staff was fantastic. The concerns about noise are very much overblown (to us). The beach is good and we loved the location because we could easily walk over to Captains Rib Shack and some of the other jerk spots. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and the view was superb. Everyone that we spoke with during our stay were very courteous and helpful. The happy hour menu at the pool bar was great as was all of the included amenities. The resort was conveniently located close to the airport and there were many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit and recommend it others looking to visit Sint Maarten.

The Royal Palm is a beautiful resort and we’ve always enjoyed staying there for many years. However, it has shifted to more family friendly resort with lots of children. If your a family looking for a nice resort I highly recommend.

The property is well kept, great location and excellent beach access. Can’t review the food because we didn’t have any lunch or dinner at the resort. The distance from everything was great and the restaurants and markets surrounding the resort was great. Highly recommend for families traveling with kids.
