"Unlike large hotel chain, this hotel is clean and cozy with easy parking, friendly staff (even the cleaning crews) and free breakfast. Highly recommended. The only suggestion for the hotel is to make the hotel sign more visible especially at night. It is a bit difficult to see when street parked cars block the view of the entrance. "

"Was in town for a concert at the SAP center. Location is good, within walkable distance to SJSU, the SAP center, and San Pedro Square. Has free parking which is a big plus as many other hotels in the area charge for parking. Rooms were clean, all facilities were in good condition, beds were comfortable. Owner was very kind and attentive. This hotel is clearly a labor of love and I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very nice place to stay with lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. Staff was very friendly. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the am was nice. Just an overall pleasant place to stay that is centrally located to where I needed to be for a few days. "

"The hotel and check in staff was great however upon arrival at the beach after check out realized I left my beach sandals at the hotel. When I called to see if my sandals were there so I could pick up later I was told no. Not sure where my sandals ended up but I think it was poor customer service to not hold on to my sandals. Other than that I live seating at Maple tree my go to when I am in town! "

"Highly recommend. Rooms were very nice, large and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helped in any way they can. Best part of it was that since we have stayed here a few times while in town they surprised us and upgraded us to the VIP room at no charge. Staying here next time in town for sure. "
