Despite the inconvenience of waiting significantly beyond our check-in time, the room was satisfactory. However, the morning breakfast was exceptionally delectable. Regrettably, we were unable to fully enjoy it due to an oversight by the hotel when booking my room. I had requested a hotel shuttle at 7:00 AM, but the hotel disregarded this request and instead scheduled our departure for 6:00 AM.

I liked the property overall. It was beautiful and had good amenities such as the pool, free parking, and free breakfast.We were there for 1 night. The staff was really friendly. The rooms are just old and you can tell. I wouldn’t mind staying for 1-3 nights though. The shower was not the best because it didn’t drain properly. Other than that everything was fine.

The staff was nice and friendly. But I have problems with the toilet. The chain was broken, and I have to put my hands in to the tank to flush the toilet. The water was stuck in the zinc when we were washing our hands or teeth. There were small roaches. The room had a safe, but it was locked, so I could not use it. Then we were moved to another room.

The hotel in general is fine, but the power in my room was out for over half a day, I could hear a lot of noise from outside the room and from the guests next to my room, the water in the bathroom sink wouldn't turn off, the mirrors in the bathroom and room were dirty, one of the receptionists was a bit rude in his behavior when I went to ask a question, the rest of the receptionists were all very friendly, the breakfast lady was also super friendly, otherwise the hotel is fine.

One-Night Stay

Great staff. The only problems were bathroom-related. Floor of shower/tub was very slippery, shower curtain torn in several places, drain was sluggish, leaving ankle-deep water at the end of a 10-minute shower. Water pressure and temperature very good, though. Breakfast was more than adequate, free 24-hour airport shuttle made our last morning easy and convenient. Mattress super comfy.

Hotel staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. On the downside, the hotel is dated and the rooms are showing their age with scuff marks, limited outlets, no USB ports, etc. The bathroom was cramped and toiletries provided consisted of dove soap in a dispenser. The breakfast buffet was limited and boring, a step below other area hotels in a similar price range. It would not be my first choice for another visit to Silao.
