"I celebrated my 40th birthday at Hyatt Ziva, and it became one of the best memories for my son and me. We had an amazing and relaxing vacation. The resort is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The food was delicious, and the customer service throughout the resort was outstanding.A special thank you to the bell man Alberto, Luis and Pocano (I apologize if I misspelled his name). They were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They spent time talking with my son, teaching him Spanish, and making him feel included. My son absolutely adored them, and they made our trip even more special. The only disappointment was the spa experience. I had a $250 spa credit and was checked in by Tania. Everything started off well, and I was taken to the sauna area before my treatment. She recommended adding a face mask but never mentioned it would cost an extra $20. I didn’t mind paying the additional charge, but I wish the cost had been explained beforehand. At checkout, I was asked to sign twice, and an additional $229 was charged to my room, which was confusing. Later, during my final hotel checkout, the front desk informed me that I had been charged for 50-minute massages, even though I had already provided my $250 spa credit. I was surprised and had to wait while the receptionist contacted the spa to correct the mistake. The receptionist was very helpful, and I know the error was not her fault, but it took extra time and made for an awkward ending to an otherwise wonderful vacation."
