"We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. Shuishe, which was amazing and rescued our whole trip. I can’t say enough good things about the management of this property. "Upon drop-off by taxi, staff members from concierge obtain our luggage and delivered to lobby. Another staff member escorted us to receptionist/lobby area. Wonderful coordination. We were served fresh tea and a warm towel to refresh in the sweltering heat. There were also staff members in front of elevators to get them ready for us. Already we know the stay was worth it! The rooms are clean, we had a balcony and in-room hot mineral spring bath. So refreshing! On the bottom floor had a children's area, family entertainment room, water pool play area, and a separate men/ women hot springs. We enjoyed delicious breakfast every morning and the servers/cooks/ table attendees were wonderful and helpful such as getting baby high chair. Fun things to do evening time when Shuishe/Ita Thao closed was free entertainment different shows each night. Very pleasant! We took advantage of free shuttle and bus ticket ride to explore Sun Moon Lake. We will be back! Thank you for making my birthday memorable!"
