Everything about the hotel and the staff is great. My room was very clean and the staff is super nice. I don't have any complaints. This was not my first time staying here, I always stay here by choice. It has always been clean, this time around they remodeled and I like it even more. I know some parts of Shreveport are a little rough, but I give you my word this hotel is in a good area. I assure you it's clean and the staff is kind and accommodating. The staff is always friendly. Only incident that occured was the fire alarm going off at midnight. Very cold night to evacuate outside but was quickly resolved.

Staff at check in was so wonderful! Professional, friendly, prompt. Explained 1st floor being worked on but confirmed it was still quiet (this is the floor with handicapped showers). Not a real walkable area...no sidewalks or crosswalks. Dinner at the bistro was great!

not worth the money

I paid more than usual- in hopes the reviews stating it was renovated would make it worth te stay. I had a rough week- attended a funeral- and was basically going to be there 10 total hours- but thought Id treat myself to a nicer stay ... dissatisfied-rooms and building are in poor condition - older- need updating and fresh paint/flooring badly. The room is moderately clean- but carpet and walls definitely dont look clean. highlight of the place is consistently friendly and competent staff--the staff are so kind and helpful!

The staff is what I am impressed with about this property. The hotel itself is going through a much needed renovation! The carpet is orange and brown, looks like it is straight from the 70's. I am sure it will be much better once they are done with the renovation. I was on the first floor. I had requested a handicap accessible room with two beds. When I got there Lindsey told me that all they had was a room with a king sized bed. It worked out because I was staying with my sister. Lindsey was very friendly and immediately went and got the shower seat I requested and dropped it off in the room. I went up later and asked for more towels and the other girl working with Lindsey was very sweet and friendly and promptly got me some more towels. I had to walk past a maid on the morning we were leaving and she was very sweet and friendly which is SO refreshing because most of the time they would just let you walk on by and not say a thing to you. Also, on the morning I was packing to leave, my key card quit working. I went up to the desk and asked for her to update it and the employee was very friendly and completed my request promptly. EVERYONE i came across was SO nice. Your staff is amazing at this location and I will stay here again because of it. They need a raise! Everyone was so friendly. Please give them these compliments! Friendly people (even in the service industry) are rare these days, unfortunately!

I am a mobility handicapped veteran. We requested a Handicap Room. The one available was for hearing special needs and did not have a safe tub! When we turned on the sink dirty brown water came out but later cleared. Don’t stay here until 2026! The lobby area and hallway was a mess. We were not informed of this when wemade the reservation!!!!
